Precise Appoints Industry Veteran as New European VP

Transaction Performance Management leader hires high as it expands channel and direct sales

LONDON, UK – 30th September 2010 – Precise, the leader in Transaction Performance Management (TPM), today announced Alf Saggese as VP Europe with responsibility for all operational and sales activities across Europe, the Nordics, former Soviet Union and Middle East.

Saggese's appointment comes as Precise ramps up direct and channel sales activities around the new Precise 9.0 for cloud solution unveiled last month at VMWorld 2010 in San Francisco. Precise has new offices in France and Germany and will move its headquarters to the City of London, from Basingstoke in order to provide enhanced service its financial sector customers.

Prior to Precise, Saggese held sales management roles at Reuters, Aspect Telecom, Rockwell, Genesys and KANA software. He joins Precise after two years with UK Enterprise Mashup provider Corizon software, where he also held the post of EMEA VP. Prior to this he spent 7 years at Kana Software as SVP EMEA.

Saggese's first actions have been to expand the European team with sales appointments, hired from major enterprise application software vendors, in the German-speaking regions of Europe, France and the UK. The renewed sales push is benefitting from recent positive industry analyst coverage from Gartner.

Commenting on his new role, Saggese said: "I am excited to be joining Precise just as TPM's role in locking down the performance promise of Cloud computing becomes clear. Already I have seen intense interest from existing customers and systems integrators who are uncovering application performance issues, which Precise alone can solve. Saggese will focus on leveraging Precise's global partnership with storage leader EMC and developing new partnerships with System Integrators covering the entire EMEA region over the next few months as well as major customer wins in the government, financial services and commercial sectors.
